I would like to create sculptural installations that provide visual and audio output through the movements of local, aquatic zooplankton. This would be achieved by projecting the movements of rotifers, amoeba or copepods found in pond water onto light sensitive diodes that would be responsible for audio feedback. Similar in function to a Theremin, this devise would capture the movements of animals across a plane (instead of the musicians hand). Simply using transparency projectors, the corresponding images would be shown on the walls, and multiple species would orchestrate an ever-changing symphonic work.
